ADJECTIVE CLAUSE IN ENGLISH

Adjective Clause is a dependent clause which does the work of an adjective and functions to modify or qualify a noun, a pronounon a noun phrase in the independent clause (main clause). Adjective clause is formed or constructed by the relative pronoun , such as who, whom, which, whose and that and the relative adverbs, such as when, where and why. The relatives not only function to modify a noun, but also become a conjunction linking or relating a dependent clause to an independent clause.
